His current researches focus on synthesis of conjugated polymers for applications in organic optoelectronic devices. She joined the research groups of Professor Guillermo C. Her current research interest covers electronic properties of organic semiconductors, interface physics in optoelectronic devices, and characterization of organic transistors and solar cells. Abstract This feature article presents a short review of the recent developments in the synthesis of conjugated polyelectrolytes CPEs along with their applications in organic optoelectronic devices with particular focus on the molecular structures of CPEs with ionic functionality, synthetic approaches, and their utilization as an interfacial layer.
